All financial contributions are subject to tax at the place of performance (in this case: Germany), regardless of whether the participant is domestic or foreign. What is a legal DKG member? 

You are employed by a university institution / research institute / company that is a DKG member (as a legal entity). You need a valid DKG membership number to register.

This option can be selected by providing your membership number or written proof of membership (e.g. letter from the association or proof of payment of the annual membership fee).

A valid student ID card is required.
